Wow what a weekend. I admit sleeping through most of it, I was underthe weather. But I was awake for the important stuff. Like the Cardinals making it to the super bowl. You got to love seeing Kurt Warner turn his team around ago for a run that just might end up bringing a championship to the Desert. And when the dust settled from one of the hardest hitting games I’ve ever seen, we find our AFC champion Steelers. So our super bowl set. Then we start our week with a new president. And for all the pomp and circumstance, the speeches, the celebrations, the transition of power, and the shift in leadership in this country, the one thing that struck me was President Obama’s in-ability to handle the oath of office. Nerves? Impatience’s? Lack preparation by Chief Justice Roberts?I don’t know. But I’m still waiting for him to talk without stumbling through his words without a teleprompter. He is my President and I pray that he leads us out of this bad time in America that he keeps us safe, and truly does break through finds away to end the ugly era of partisanship that makes all Americans sick. But I just look back at all the negative shots taken at our now former President, the fun that people made of him the cheap shots sent his way and the total lack of respect for him till the day he left and I wonder will the honeymoon ever end for President Obama? We’ve got serious problems in this country and I wonder if conservatives/republicans will act like the democrats acted towards President Bush. I mean it was Bush who offered to “reach across the aisle” to work with the opposition. If the opposition now acts the same way, is that really right or wrong? Let’s watch and see and let’s give our new President the support of all of us. He’s going to need it!
