I swear every year I keep saying I’m not buying into the hype I don’t really care, not very interested, but here I am, sitting in my office with the TV on watching  BYU vs Florida the first game of the tournament! NO I did not fill out a Bracket, I haven’t for several years now because quite frankly I had lost alot of interest in College Basketball.It just doesn’t do it for me like it used to. And for the past several years my focus has been more on college and Pro Hockey. But last year kind of brought me half way back towards enjoying the game. Michigan made it to the tournament and yes they play CLEMSON and they beat them too! and so I kept watching for the first few rounds and then lost interest. But this year something is different. First, the Houston Cougars have returned to the dance, I was living in Houston during those great days of PHI SLAMA JAMA and just loved those great runs that team made year after year.So that got me interested. Secondly, there doesn’t seem to be a clear favorite to win it all it looks like to me atleast 5-6 teams could run the table. Third, how bout them Terriers. Wofford made  this year and I’d love to see them pull the big upset  in the 1st round. Sure Clemson is in again but until that team shows some interest in playing up to there talent level, why watch a team that quits before the game even starts!  But I think the main reason I enjoy this Madness as they call it is I truly loved the game as a kid, and believe it or not I was pretty good at it. So I enjoy the talent of these guys and I do love to pull for the underdog! Give me a first round upset and I’m all about that team!  So you want to know who I’m picking for the finals eh?  Nope not gonna give a pick, I’m just enjoy watching some great games and pull for the underdog in the final whoever it is!
