If you need further evidence that society is going downhill with the coaster brake disabled, this just might tip you over.

Earlier this morning I look up and see Matt Lauer doing a full blown, totally serious, with notes interview with….the cast of The Jersey Shore.

Now, fewer things are more obnoxious than the hair bags on Real Housewives of New Jersey, but event THEY take a back seat to the nutsacks of the Jersey Shore. Everyone has a nickname, an orange tan, and dumbass hair. THIS is the future of America? We have poured more money into education than ever before and apparently these 4 were able to resist ALL of it.

Curious as to what is happening in the motorcycling community? Drop down to the next blog for the current line up.

You know some of us get lucky enough in life to be able to have a job that also is our passion. The kind of job you can enjoy and make a good living at all at the same time. I am one of those people, I get to do something I always wanted to do and would do it for free but am damn glad I’m making a living do it !

Well I found another guy who seems to have found the same bablance in life, and then some, some would say. He’s a critic for a local newspaper in Colorado. And here’s where it gets even better, he get to critic one of his favorite pastimes and get paid to do it as often as he wantsor I guess I really should say as much as he NEEDS. See this young man samples and writes reviews on medical marijuana for the locla newspaper. He is the first of his kind in the country and you can bet he’s enjoying his work every single day. Now I do need to clarify things here and mention that this guy does suffer from chronic stomach pain and is legally allowed to used medical grade marijuana for treatment of this problem. So lets make it clear here that he is legal to use the stuff. But with so many MM shops open in the Denver area and throughout the state of Colorado and with all the different types of weed out on the market, it just seems to make sense that there was someone out there who could help these paitent/clients decide what type of weed is for them. It’s at this point in the blog where I can understand the 2 different reactions coming from you all out there, the opened minded/liberal, self styled enlightened thinkers out there saying “well this all sounds like a very good thing” while the more conservative oldschool/traditional thought would be “YA RIGHT! Who’s this guy fooling?” I think this whole issue is symbolic of just how far we’ve come as a country and yet how backwards we still seem to be at the gut level. I admit to be very skeptical when I first read this story, I mean I spent a great deal of my youth and adulthoodb in the marijuana culture, I know what a stoner is and what they are all about lifestyle wise, and believe methey’d all be lining up for the kind of job this guy has. But thats what I mean about looking at marijuana through a outdated prizum. To me it’s clear that there are enough people in the medical community who believe in the benefiits of medical grade marijuana, so why can’t the whole country come to grips with the idea of making available for those people anywhere in the country who might get real medical help for there aliments? Why just Colorado and California? Can only those people feel better using it and if you use it in Indiana you dont’t feel it? What is it? Ithink it’s the fact that there still is so much misinformation or lingering “Reefer Madness” that permiates American society that we have been unable to move past the idea that there just might be something actually benefical from using marijuana at the medical level. I’m not going to sit here today and scream for the total legalization of pot, but I do think it’s time that the federal government and the National medical community come together and finally decide whether the citizens of the country as a whole could be benefiting from medical marijuana. I know we have to deal with the pharmacudical companies to, but if the decision is that it’s good, then of course they’ll get there big piec of the action. It’s just a question this story broguth to my head and please watch the attached story and tell me what you think.http://money.cnn.com/video/news/2010/07/28/n_pot_weed_marijuana_critic.cnnmoney/?hpt=C2

Remember back six months ago when Haiti had that terrible earthquake? Total devastation across the country side. The dust had barley settled when we had former President Bill Clinton asking for our financial help.

In the next few days he was everywhere, along with George W. Bush, reminding people that even though times are tough you needed to dig deep and help others. He went on to explain that we all needed to cut back on our daily spending, and make the sacrifice to help those that need it more.

Now, flash forward to this week. The setting is New York state, in a hamlet, about 90 minutes from the Big Apple. This time Bill is pretty quite because he is about to spend $5 MILLION dollars to get his daughter married off. That’s right… $5 MILLION bucks.

So…the next time slick willy jumps up on TV, biting his lower lip, pleading with YOU to sacrifice…..ask him how many could have been helped with a chunk of the $5 MILLION he spent on Chelsea.
