Boston & Lou Gramm and that Bass Player!
Posted in: Uncategorized
Man, what a great show, Lou Gramm and Boston! This was one of those shows that will be talked about for a while.
Thanks again to the gang from the Bi-Lo Center for helping us put on one hell of a great party, from the Boston Sea Party where listeners enjoyed a stellar low country boil with ALL the trimmings from the catering at the Bi-Lo Center in a suite, to the “Get Schooled” session for 10 lucky listeners with the drummer of Boston and school teacher Jeff Neal. Jeff is REALLY is a U.S. History at Bonny Eagle High School in Maine, and the band works around HIS schedule, how cool! Look for excerpts from that session soon at WROQ.COM
Brian Blades and I got up on stage and saw what you all looked like from the stage.
We couldn’t see too much but the Bud Light sign.
Lou starting out the nights with a strong 40 minute set and did not disappoint the crowd with his solo songs and Foreigner favorites. Then Boston took to the stage and ripped out 8 songs nonstop before even taking a breath.
All of the guys we talked to all had ONE common thing on their mind, the bass player and how HOT she was.

Her name is Kimberly Dahme and she played more than just the bass guitar.

Thanks to ALL of you devoted ROCK 101 fans that said hello and just hung out and had a few beers with us. I have a blast meeting every one of you. Stay tuned for other killer shows to come!
