Pirates, Bullets, NASCAR and the Beatles.

Posted in: Uncategorized

Is it just me, or has the rate of pirate activity slacked off since our military came in and shot a few of the “bad guys.”

Its interesting to see how a few well place rounds can change the “attitude” of a pirate. I wonder why other countries felt the need to hold back and let these sh*t heads run free.

Speaking of lack of attention, when’s the last time you heard someone from the White House mention the war? Troops are still dying, money is still being spent, and while those were bad enough to have candidate Obama speak daily on the issue, you don’t hear a peep out of him about it….now thats its happening on his watch.

Did you happen to see the President in the rose garden with the boys from NASCAR? Talk about your uncomfortable moments. Watching this guy try to be “down home” with folks he’s never heard of, about a sport he knows knowing about, for reasons he can’t understand…was….well, creepy.

Now, this intersection of pomp and populas is not new to the White House or unique to President Obama. Presidents have been trying to look like “regular guys” since day one, and it never works. George W. Bush looked like a fish out of water, as did Clinton, Carter, et al. At some point, some advisor is going to get the point that making the boss look like a parent at a teen party, trying to be hip and cool, will never work. That moment has yet to arrive.

Oh yea. I’m supposed to say something about the Beatles to keep the interest up in our promotion. I love them. I was in the 7th grade when they appeared on the Ed Sullivan show. I was around when BOTH them and I were new. Their music moved me then as it does now.

On September 9th, 14 CDs of this collection of masterpiece product will be released in a digital remastered format.

Its the Beatles.

If you need to know more, well….I don’t want to know you.

Stay loose.
