The 2009 Marine Corp Toys for Tots Toy Run was a HUGE success!!!
Thanks to a large out pouring of support from the upstate, thousands of kids in this area will have a great Christmas.
As the morning progressed you could sense the crowd was going to be large (and it was), and that the mood would be “festive” (and it was).
When we rolled out of the Heritage Park in Simpsonville, we had over 1,000 bikes and thousands of toys.
Now, to those of you that might have been inconvenienced by the parade….. we apologize….kind of . It takes a while to move over 1,000 motorcycles moving at 30 mph and estimates ran from 40 – 50 minutes for us to pass thru each intersection. I’m sure it was frustrating to a lot of folks, but no one has ever been able to come up with a better way to get that many folks from Point A (Simpsonville) to Point B (Greenville Harley).

Once we arrived it was a huge party with a mob of bikers feeling good about helping so many kids. Thanks to the Marine Corp, Tony Liller, Greenville H.O.G., my buddy Tyler Winstead, and of course Greenville Harley and Quaker Steak. Their hard work will be felt throughout the area on Christmas morning. If you got angry with us due to traffic issues, we understand. We also hope you will show the same level of patience NEXT YEAR cause we are coming back with even more cycles and toys. HO HO HO!
